Donald Trump Rally Capturing Real-Time Reports:

A shooter attempted to kill former US President Donald Trump today at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, striking him in the ear. Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, was the shooter, and he has now been slain. According to police, two more people were "critically" injured in the shooting, and one spectator also died.

As soon as he began speaking, the 78-year-old Republican presidential candidate—whose campaign claimed he was "fine"—came under attack. There was blood all over his mouth and cheek.

He added in a statement that he "was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear" in response to the shooting at his gathering.

The winner of the next US presidential election, Joe Biden, called the incident "sick" and stated that there was "no place in America for this kind of violence."
